Jan's Peach Berry Jam

Don’t waste summer fruits when they make the most delicious jams. You can control the amount of sugar or if you prefer use a lower calorie sweetener.  If your fruit has become very ripe you may omit the sugar all together.

Equipment

  • 1 Saucepan
  • 1 Wide Mouth Funnel
  • 1 Dough Cutter You can use another masher but the dough cutter works really well
  • 1 Mason Jar
  • 1 Spoon For Tasting!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 Cup Strawberries very ripe
  • 1 Peach very ripe
  • 1/3 Cup Blueberries very ripe
  • 1 Tbs Sugar
  • 1 Tbs Water

Instructions
 

  • Gather Your Ingredients
  • Wash all the fruit
  • Chop the peach, discard the pit
  • Add the berries and peaches to a small saucepan
  • Add the sugar
  • Add the water
  • Cook on medium high heat until tit comes to a full boil
  • Stir and mash the fruit on the sides of the pan occasionally
  • Reduce the heat and cook on low for 10 minutes
  • Let it cool for a minimum of 10 minutes
  • Add to Mason Jars and store in the fridge for up to 3 days
  • Or freeze for up to 3 months

You can mix it in some prepared barbecue sauce for grilling chicken or pork
