  • 1 Tablespoon of Italian Seasoning
  • 2 Teaspoons of Onion Powder
  • 2 Teaspoons of Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste

     3.   Place the chicken in a roasting pan and pat dry with paper towels.

     4.   Rub the softened butter all over the chicken and get under the skin of the breast if you can.

     5.   Sprinkle on the garlic and onion powder and then the salt and pepper.

     6.   Tilt chicken up and sprinkle the salt in the cavity of the bird.

     7.   Lastly, sprinkle the Italian seasoning all over.

     8.   Cook for 20 min per lb or until internal temp is 165 degrees F.

Tip When taking the temperature put through the leg into the thigh, don’t just test the breast meat

Let the bird rest for at least 10 minutes before cutting into it…. enjoy!
