
Oven Baked Spicy Candied Bacon
This oven baked recipe is simple and does not require you to flip over the bacon. Simply cut the bacon to your desired size and bake for 20-30 minutes depending on the thickness of your bacon.

- 1 Cookie Sheet
- 1 Parchment Paper
- 1 Aluminum Foil
- 1 Tongs
- 2 Oven Mits
- 1 Breading Tray
Ingredients
- 1 Lb Bacon
- 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
- 2 Tsp Sriracha Powder
- 1 Tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 Tsp Cayenne Pepper
- Cooking Spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 ℉
- Line the baking tray with a piece of parchment paper and then aluminum foil. This will make for an easy clean up.

- Spray the cooling rack with cooking spray, this helps prevent sticking. Place the cooling rack onto the baking tray.Cooking Spray
- Mix all the spices and brown sugar in the breading tray3/4 Cup Brown Sugar , 2 Tsp Sriracha Powder, 1 Tsp Black Pepper , 1/2 Tsp Cayenne Pepper

- Cut your bacon to the desired height and place into the breading tray 2 strips at a time. Coat the bacon generously.1 Lb Bacon

- Place each piece onto the wire cooling rack

- Position the tray on the middle rack of the oven and cook for 10 minutes
- After 10 minutes increase the oven temperature to 390℉
- Cook for another 10 minutes- You will now want to start watching for the desired color and to finish the bacon.
- You may want to make sure your oven fan is on or a window is open- continue to cook for up to 10 more minutes checking in increments of 2- 3 minutes
- Let the bacon cool for 10 minutes minimum before handling it

This recipe is purposely made for mass appeal. Think for a cocktail party or even as a garnish. It can easily be made more spicy by simply adding a half to a full tsp more of Siracha Powder.
