Equipment
- 1 Mini Food Processor
- 1 Spatula
- 1 Convection Oven Optional
Ingredients
- 1/3 Cup Basil
- 1 Cup Sea Salt
Instructions
- Wash and dry the basil
- Preheat your convection oven to 220F
- Pulse the basil
- Add the salt and pulse it all together. It smells fabulous at this point
- Spread the basil salt onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
- Cook the salt and basil for 10 minutes on convection/bake and them break it up with a spatula
- Place it back in the oven for 10 more minutes
- Feel it to make sure it has dried to your liking
- Place it back into the food processor and pulse a few more times (Optional) creates a smaller grain of salt
- Put it back in the oven for 5 more minutes (optional) Ensures a good and dry product for storing
