The Mad Boar Restaurant & Pub
If you live in the raleigh area of North Carolina. This is the known go-to place to stop for lunch when you leave Carolina Beach.
We are big fans of pub food and The Mad Boar has plenty to offer. From Pickle Chips to Potato Skins you can’t go wrong with any of the appetizers.
We ordered the Fried Pickle Chips served with house-made ranch dressing, the traditional, spicy Buffalo Wings, and the fresh-baked Pretzel Bites served with queso.
There are so many comfort food choices to enjoy such as the Brisket Loaded Mac n Cheese or The Boar Burger.
Of course if you are looking for a healthier option you can get The Blackened Tuna Sandwich or your choice of Salad.
We also ordered a salad to share and it came loaded with cheese and two house made dressing cups.
The charm is everywhere you turn. Inside the pub and in the dining room. The event spaces are named the Renaissance Room, the Meade Room, and the Celtic Court. Look at that beautiful ceiling!
They have a little store inside where you can buy their merch, like tshirts, hats, and they even have a little Mad Boar plushie!
