Raspberry Infused Simple Syrup

This is my favorite recipe for a cocktail mixer! The raspberry syrup is the best I have ever tried. The process takes a little patience waiting for the sous vide but the syrup lasts a month in the refrigerator.

Equipment

  • 1 Sous Vide
  • 1 Mesh Strainer
  • 1 Wide Mouth Funnel

Ingredients
  

  • 22 Raspberries 22 Raspberries approximately (75 grams)
  • 7.5 Oz Simple Syrup

Instructions
 

  • Wash the raspberries
  • Add them to a ziplock bag
  • Place your Sous vide in a container filled with water (Pan or other approved material for Sous vide machine)
  • Leave the baggie open a tad as you push it down into the water so all the air is forced out by the displacement of the water.
  • Seal the baggie and get your Sous vide set to 135F
  • Leave it in for 2 hours
  • Remove the baggie and submerge it into an ice bath
  • Strain using a fine mesh strainer or coffee filter into a mason jar
