Shish Kebob
This is one of the most fun colorful ways to entertain in the summer! Our marinade add so much flavor. Mix and match the proteins and the veggies!

Marinade
- 4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 3 Cloves Garlic minced
- ½ Teaspoon Red Pepper Flake
- 2 Teaspoons Italian Seasoning
- 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
Kebobs
- 1 Lb. Chicken Breast cubed
- 1 Lb. Steak NY Sirloin or Steak Tipscubed
- 8 Oz Cherry Tomatoes rinse and dry
- 3 Oz Mushrooms rinse and dry
- 1 Zucchini Squash green or yellow, rinse, dry and cube
- 1 Bell Pepper cubed
- 12 Wooden Skewers
Kebobs
Cut the vegetables into bite sized pieces
Place the vegetables in their own bowl or bag
Cut the beef into bite sized pieces
Place into its own bowl or bag
Cut the chicken into bite sized pieces
Place the chicken it is own bowl or bag
Pour the marinade evenly into each bowl/bag
Let it sit in the fridge at least 2 hours up to overnight
30 minutes before you are ready to assemble the kebobs soak the wooden skewers ( this prevents them from splintering and firing up on the grill)
Add your choice of meats and vegetables on your pre-soaked skewers
Grill. until the chicken has reached an internal minimum temperature of 165F
Depending on how you plan to serve them. Placing like items on the same skewer can make it easier to grill. Ex. all the chicken on skewers of their own all the beef on another and all the vegetables on their own skewers. This is how my husband prefers them. I like all the colors and variety so I mix them together.
Vary the vegetables, and add shrimp. scallops or other proteins like lamb, turkey, sausage.
