Pineapple Mango Salsa
Refreshing with a sweet and spicy taste. This side dish goes perfectly with grilled meats and seafoods!

- 1 Pineapple Fresh
- 2 Mangos Fresh Ripe
- 1 Poblano Pepper
- 1 White Onion
- 1 Tsp Cayenne Pepper can add more to taste
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 2 Tbs Cilantro Fresh
- 1/2 Lime
Wash the pineapple and the mango
Rinse the cilantro and the poblano pepper
Wash the lime
Peel and core the pineapple Save the core for Pineapple water and the top to plant in the ground
Cut into tiny bite sized bits
Peel the mango and remove the flat oval shaped seed
Cut the mango into tiny bite sized pieces
Mince the poblano pepper
Mince the onion
Chop the cilantro
Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl along with the cayenne pepper and salt
Cut lime in half and squeeze the lime
Give the salsa a god stir
Chill for at least one hour before serving.
Taste and adjust the heat with the cayenne pepper and salt.
Variations:
Add red bell pepper for more color
If you do not like cilantro simply omit it
Fresh jalapeno may be substituted for the poblano pepper
If you are serving to guests make sure they know there is mango in the dish, Some people may have a sensitivity to mango in their diets. You can always omit the mango and it becomes a pineapple salsa.
