Lemony Pan Fried Asparagus

We love asparagus and this one is so simple to make. This side dish cooks in under 15 minutes. It is bright and savory in flavor but can be kid-friendly as well. The recipe uses ingredients you likely have on hand in the pantry. You will want to make this dish over and over.

  • 1 Lb Asparagus 1 Bunch
  • 2 Garlic Cloves minced
  • ½ Lemon
  • 1 Teaspoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Butter
  • Ground Black Pepper To Taste

Instructions

  • Gather Your Ingredients
  • Wash and dry the asparagus
  • In a frying pan add the oil and heat on high.
  • Cut 2-3” off the bottom of the asparagus.
  • Add the garlic and butter, reduce the heat to medium and continue to cook for 3 minutes.
  • Add the asparagus and cook on high heat for 3-4 minutes.
  • Asparagus will turn a vibrant green, add freshly squeezed lemon over top.
  • Add fresh ground pepper to taste and serve.
