Herb Butter/Sauce

This lovely compound butter can be served room temperature or heated.  At room temperature, it is a wonderful spread and heated it becomes a lovely sauce.

Ingredients

  • 6 Tbs Salted Butter softened
  • 1 Tbs Rosemary minced
  • 3 Tbs Parsley minced
  • 1 Tbs Basil minced
  • 1 Clove Garlic
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1/4 Tsp Lemon Juice

Instructions

  • Mix together.
  • If serving on the table you can roll into a ball or place into any mold
  • if using as a sauce (heat in the microwave at 50% power)

Notes

For SteaK
Apply when your steak is still hot it will melt all over. Yum!
If Doing a Reverse Sear on a Steak
Simply rub onto the steak just before the sear and it will help it to brown and crisp up nicely.
