Frozen Wonton Meal

- 16 oz pot sticker I used the frozen chicken and cilantro wontons from Costo, it was only $6 for a huge bag.
- ¼ Onion sliced
- 3 Carrots cut into matchsticks
- 6 stems Broccolini or Broccoli
- 1 Tsp Ginger minced
- 1 Clove Garlic minced
- 3 Tbs Orange Juice
- 1/4 Cup Chicken Stock
- 3 Tbs Lime Juice
- 2 Tbs Butter
- 3 Tbs Soy Sauce
- 1 Tsp Red Pepper Flake
- 2 Tbs Rice Wine Vinegar
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Heat a frying pan to medium heat and add the butter.
Once melted, add the broccolini , carrots, onion, garlic, and ginger.
Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the frozen wontons to the pan, mix and let cook for 1 minute.
Add the lime juice, orange juice, chicken stock, and soy sauce. Sprinkle the red pepper flake.
Cover the pan with a lid and cook 5-6 minutes on medium heat.
Add the black pepper and rice wine vinegar.
Put the lid back on the pan and cook for another 2 minutes.
Turn the heat off, leave the lid on and let sit for 2 minutes before serving
Plate and enjoy
Variations:
You can use broccoli, brussel sprouts, pea pods or any green vegetable of your choice
If you prefer a crispy wonton simply pan fry the the wontons 1st, then remove to a plate. Add over the vegetables once they are cooked.
