This salsa always gets big kudos when I serve it at a gathering. It tastes so fresh however not every ingredient has to come from the garden to make this salsa seem like you slaved over it for hours.
1Tbsp Jalapeno Brine You can add more depending on taste
1 -2ClovesGarlic
1TablespoonFresh Lime Juice
1TablespoonHot Sauce
1/2TeaspoonCayenne Pepperadd more for heat to taste
1/2TeaspoonSaltadd more to taste
1/4TeaspoonGround Cumin
1/4TeaspoonGarlic Salt
1/4TeaspoonOnion Powder
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
Chill for at least 2 hours.
Notes
The hack is to use mostly canned tomatoes however chop up a few seeded Roma tomatoes and add them in. We also use canned pickled jalapeno peppers and a little bit of the pepper juice to add in acidity. Taste after it is chilled. You can always add more cayenne pepper and salt if needed. If it is too hot you can add more fresh lime juice or more tomatoes
