For The Tart Crust
- ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsalted butter chilled and cubed
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 2-3 tbsp cold water
- Pinch salt
For The Apple Filling
- 5 Granny Smith apples medium size peeled, cored, and sliced
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
For the Crumble Topping:
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ⅓ cup rolled oats
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
For the Caramel Drizzle:
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter room temperature, cut into cubes
- ½ cup heavy cream room temperature
- Pinch salt optional
Prepare the Tart Crust:
In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
Cut in the chilled butter using a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add the egg yolk and 2 tablespoons of cold water, mixing until the dough comes together. Add more water if needed.
Form the dough into a disk, wrap it in plastic wrap, and chill for at least 30 minutes.
Prepare the Apple Filling:
In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and flour. Toss until the apples are well coated.

In a medium bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
