Equipment

Ingredients

  • 4 Onions We like the Vidalia variety for its sweetness
  • 1/4 Cup Butter
  • 4 Tbs Butter
  • Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese Grated

Instructions

  • Gather your ingredients
  • Pre heat your air fryer to 350 F
  • Slice the onion at the top, making sure to leave the root intact
  • Leave the skin on the onion
  • Using your paring knife insert it into the middle of the onion on the side where you sliced it. You want to make a diviet to hold the butter, vinegar and rosemary.
  • Add a tablespoon of butter to each onion
  • Add a sprig of rosemary to each onion
  • Salt the onions generously
  • Drizzle the Balsamic into each divit
  • Once you smell the onions really cooking you can remove them and sprinkle the parmesan over them usually at about the 6 -10 minute mark
  • Return them to the airfryer for 5 more minutes or until the centers are soft and the tops are brown

Notes

Depending on the size of your onions the cook time may vary
Small onions can be ready in 20-25 minutes
Larger onions can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 55 minutes
Vidalia Onions are prefered for their sweetness
