Balsamic Vinegar Reduction


This lovely reduction can be made with either honey or brown sugar.  They both are wonderful with the balsamic vinegar. Give them a try and let us know which taste you prefer.

  • 1 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • ⅓ Cup Honey or 1/4 Cup of Brown Sugar


  1. In small saucepan add the balsamic dressing and either the brown sugar or the honey.
  2. Mix and turn on med high heat.
  3. Bring to a rapid simmer and cook for 15-17 min, until it reduces to 1/3.
  4. Set aside and let cool.
